The Chicago Sky have announced their local broadcast schedule for the 2024 season, with all games set to air on NBC Sports Chicago.
The Sky's local broadcast schedule will tip off on May 19th, when they host the Dallas Wings at Wintrust Arena. The team will play a total of 15 games on NBC Sports Chicago, including six home games and nine road games.
The Sky's broadcast team will feature play-by-play announcer Meghan McKeown and analyst Rebecca Lobo. McKeown is a veteran broadcaster with over 20 years of experience, while Lobo is a three-time Olympic gold medalist and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer.
"We are excited to partner with NBC Sports Chicago to bring Sky games to our fans in the Chicagoland area," said Sky President and General Manager Adam Fox. "NBC Sports Chicago is a leader in local sports broadcasting, and we know they will provide our fans with the best possible coverage of our team."
The Sky are coming off a successful 2023 season, in which they finished with a record of 26-10 and advanced to the WNBA Finals. Led by All-Star guard Candace Parker, the Sky are looking to build on their success in 2024 and bring a championship to Chicago.
The Sky's local broadcast schedule is a major step forward for the team and for women's basketball in Chicago. With all Sky games airing on local television, fans will have more opportunities than ever to watch their favorite team and cheer them on to victory.
